Our electric cargo bikes are available to hire for journeys in and around Sheffield. With powerful, electric-assist motors they can easily tackle Sheffield’s less-than-flat terrain. You can collect one from our Heeley base, or we can arrange delivery or collection to/from other locations in Sheffield for a modest extra charge.
Our cargo bikes are fully insured for your peace of mind. This includes theft, accidental damage and vandalism cover (all subject to a £100 excess), £5 million Personal Liability cover, and bicycle breakdown cover (insurance details here).
Before you hire a bike please read through our terms and conditions – you will be asked to formally agree to them when you pick up your bike. We may also ask you for a deposit, and will definitely ask you for proof of identity (photo ID) and proof of address.
At the moment all bookings can be made via our booking sheet below and payment will be taken in person when you collect. You need to give us 24 hours notice so we can ensure that the bike you would like to borrow is ready to go. Online booking will be up and running soon.
Our hire rates
We are keen to see more people, and more businesses, using bikes as transport. With that in mind we have set our hire rates as low as we can to encourage you to give cargo bikes a try. You can borrow our bikes for any time between half a day up to a week.

Urban Arrow Flatbed Cargo
This large version of the Urban Arrow Flatbed Cargo bike comes with a closed and lockable box, capable of taking 100kg of cargo. The lid of the cargo box is removable to allow you to carry objects that are too big to allow the lid to close fully
Urban Arrow Family
The Urban Arrow Family comes with an open cargo box giving greater flexibility in carrying oversize objects. It still has the same 100kg payload as Porter and also features a removable seat and safety harness for transporting children
Urban Arrow Shorty
The Urban Arrow Shorty comes with a child seat adapter for the rear, and a lockacble hood over the front cargo area.
